ATLAS aspires to generate vibrant contemporary art practice in the context of Skye and Lochalsh through high quality projects, incorporating educational work and involvement from the community in a variety of forms, and placing this work within a local, national and international context.

Spincycle presents posts relating to research by artist Deirdre Nelson on the theme 'spin' for Atlas Arts on Skye.

Funded by Creative Scotland, Spincycle is a year long audience development project for the arts in Skye and Lochalsh. Taking as its starting point the theme of spin; it will explore things that revolve and turn, rotate ,mirror, repeat and turn. 'Spin' draws inspiration from many areas
including a previous project by curator Kevin Murray previously at Craft Victoria in Melbourne.
